A long time ago when I was only a 50's Cleric a necro gave me a good lesson in healing. Basically he said DO NOT HEAL WHEN I AM FD. Think about it, the reason for fd is to lose agro when they are splitting or something paths funny and they do not want to bring too many to the raid or group. If you heal them there is a risk you will get the agro they are trying to lose and thus pull whatever to the group or raid.ÂÂ
We can heal someone that is fd, if we are in the group with them as we have two non agro producing healing methods: divine arbitration is fast and great. I use it to keep pullers alive and not take agro before the tank classes have it. The same is true of the cleric epic shield.ÂÂ
It was suggested that we use promised renewal on pullers when they have a difficult split as it also is non argo and has a long delay so it might heal at a time it is most needed. This Suggestion came from one of the pull team.ÂÂ

As much as I feel for you healers trying to keep us pullers alive, I honestly do prefer you don't heal me when I'm FD at all.
I almost have to tie Yurda up in the chair when I'm pulling but the simple truth is, If FD doesn't work, I'd rather take a death and rez then have even the slightest risk of group agro because of a impulse heal.
The healpots and MEND (for monks anyway) is more then enough to keep us up in most cases. During a FD is pretty much the only time I use MEND since when fighting once mob is pulled, heals are obviously just fine and much appretiated. =)
We do not need to be at 100% health all the time. As long as we are running and flinging stuff on mobs and FD, we're fine.
As an extra note, monks CAN use MEND while FD and to gulp down a healpot only takes a fraction of a second, they are instant and no casting time so personally, I ask you all to not heal me at all until I'm back with group and have done my work bringing the mob(s) I set out to bring and the pull is completed.
To often have I had pulls messed up even by the heal over time spell. Not necessarily because of the heal itself, but because druid/cleric/shaman had to move up a bit to get me in range. Please do not do that. If I'm FD, I'm in 98% of the cases safe already. For the occasions where mobs broke the FD (usually I get hit by a spell of some kind), I will immediately stand up and run them -AWAY- from group trying to split with another FD only moments later. A heal hitting me at that point makes my work completely undone and mobs run to group causing havoc.
If I ever need a heal while FD or doing anything at all up front, I will be asking for it, trust me. =D
As far as i know playing a monk and a heal class as a dup box if the FDer is FD and the mob is not hitting him it is not a problem to heal. i do not like it unless im boxing...
a) if FD fails the healer doesnt always know so they draw aggro
b) if you are casting a heal and i DO NOT see the message (or if there isnt one) then if i get up right when it lands were screwed.
always wait for the puller to tell you its ok to heal if they want one. just my 2cp

When I have less than 100 heal pots I am in the bazaar buying more. Mend for me with all AA's heals 60% of my hit points 80% of the time. When I pull for the raid I do not stay in camp to help kill unless it is the Named we are after.
 I never Want to be healed while I am pulling trash to get to our target. Let me say that again NEVER heal me while I am pulling, FD or standing. I will ask in group for a heal, if and when I want one.
I don't keep up with Cleric spells and which cause agro, but if one of the Clerics/Shamans/Druids wants to test this some time just let me know and we can test everyone you have. Just bring a Tank to get the mobs off of you when you do get agro.Â

I have healed with Heal over time spells and not gotten aggro, i do not know if i have been lucky, or it does not cause aggro.
Just something to think about, a HoT as you are heading out may save you plat on the potions. Â
 Also, as you use them on the raids, does the guild reimburse you for the ones you use on a raid?

I have never ask the guild or plan to ask the guild to reimburse me for my heal pots, but if you feel sorry for me having bought so many just drop me a couple 100k the next time you see me. This should be a good start.Â

 I have to agree with the monkies here. If Im pulling and FD please hold off on the heals. However, if Im just in group and Im not the main puller. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE feel free to heal me. You have no idea how many times Ive died in group (not as the puller) because the healer was under the impression that you never ever at any time heal necros. Sometimes we might not be able to get a heal or a pot off and then its PERFECTLY ok to heal us. 
The necro that was so offended by my 50's heal explained to me that there are life taps that keep them alive and I was making the life taps less useful. He said if he was under 20 health and not fd to heal him, otherwise give him a chance to do it himself.
When I group with monks or necros I try to remember to talk to them and heal in the manner they like best. Some want no heals some a heal at a certain point, again if not fd. No one, I have talked to about it, who uses fd to stay alive wants to be healed when fd.

I have to agree with the above, if Im not pulling then heal if you can without loosing focus on the MT. However, in my case I never need it cause I always make Strongdarkness pull for me ..more fun watching him die =P
