Pittiputty had been confused, but once he discovered he wasnt in Nektulos forest but in Butcher Block, his mind became set on finding the Wizard who had sent him there, possibly to die, so he and Ikabod began to look for a boat to Freeport, unfortunately all they could find was a derepit fishing boat that was barely big enough for the two of them and had to be rowed.

Merrdok, the de assasin, loosened his thin dagger as he crept silently through the smelly, filthy, grim strewn, tunnels under Freeport, watching carefully for others who might want to add his well-earned possesions ( killing their former owners had been fun but most tedious) to their own, and wondering why none of his spys, the thoughly incompetant bunch of scallywags, cutthroats, and thoughly dead guys, could not give him any information about the Huge Troll in Butcherblock or anyone else either for that matter.

Redbeard had gone back to Rivervale to bring news to his friends and allies of the new potential plots, of which he knew would bring him instant fame (and free beer) inside the circular tavern.

"Ahhhhhhhck!" squeaked Ickabod, as the huge boat from Freeport swished by upsetting the tiny craft he was in and plunging both he and the hugh troll in the merky water of freeport harbor, where he quickly latched on to the Troll's swinging earings, since he barely could stay afloat on his own.

While enjoying the free beer at the Tavern in Rivervale (and LOTS of free beer, at that) one of "redbeards" many Informants came and whispered in his ear. The Infamous Necromancer Jaxnor had been spotted lurking in the shadows near Kaladim...........after his long absence from Norrath, who knows what trouble this evil character may bring....

Just as Merrdok snuck out of the dank tunnel under the dock, his sensitive hearing picked up a comotion out in the water and using his finely tuned, tinkerd, spy glass, he peered at what looked like a huge beast, with two heads, trashing about in the water, growling, "Ire vef dep yz", which didn't sound like any language he knew, but then this was Freeport and most anything could inhabit the dismal, fetid, waters here.

While drinking...a lot...at the tavern, Redbeard saw an odd sight---a High Elf woman, coming closer. First Redbeard was wondering how a High Elf could fit in the bar, but soon he started wondering why no one else noticed the pointy eared stranger. She leaned over, whispered something startling in Redbeards ear, then dissapeared.

It seemed forever since the boat had overturned and Pityputty was wishing he had never seen the useless orc, as he bobbed up and down in the water, muttering explicatives of unmentionable nature, trying to pry Ickabod's frantic fingers out of his earings while still floating quietly enough under the dock to avoid the Freeport militia who often patrolled there.

That voice people tend to hear everytime they zone, before they get their Adventurer's stone, was different that time, "Redbeard, I know so much about you, yet you know nothing about us. It would be wise for you to go to the Mermade Tavern in Queynos and meet up with.."

Meanwhile back at the dock in Freeport Pittyputty and his orcish, too close buddy Ickabod, had managed to crawl out of the bay under the dock and were creeping their way into the tunnels when they ran into Merrdok the assasin, who was so busy looting his latest victum, he didnt notice them till Pityputty started to drip on him.

Pittyputty, scatching a most irritating itch, leaned close to hear what secrets the evil, crafty, Merrdok had to say, while Ickabod snatched a large dung beetle up, quickly snapped it open and sucked out the delishously gooey ineards.

The stupid troll and his friend immediately set forth to Queynos, running through the city of Freeport and its gaurds, but by the time they reached safety in the Western Commonlands, they forgot two important things (which isn't an all too uncommon thing for Trolls to do): how to get to Queynos, and who the heck they were looking for!

"Ports, get your fresh as the morning sunrise ports right here!" cried the lonely and scantily clad half-elven druidess Kalme Ishmael. Business had gone down so much since the Plane of Knowledge conglomerate started operating those damnable port stones. "Ports, get you red-hot burn the roof of your mouth ports right here, now porting to Nexus, Butcherblock, North Karana, Grimling Forest, Toxxulia Forest, and Surefall Glade, gateway to Qeynos, mightiest city on Norrath." Suddenly a gnome, or maybe a dwarf, wearing an odd red bearded halfling disguise ran up to her and screeched, Surefall Glade and step on it."

Chuckling evily to himself, Merdokk crept silently through the sewer muck following the mess left by the exit of his former compaions. Congratulating himself for coming up with such a remarkable plan so quickly to kill two irritants in his life, and yet line his own pockets as well. "Oh! What a clever fellow I am, sending the stupid oafs to Lacrecria, the filthy rich gem merchant gnome, whos guards will snuff them and hang them on her wall faster than fleas bite Trolls behinds, and while doing so will leave her open for me to sneak in and flitch her most valuable bauble, according to her own words, the priceless and most loved, rare Purple Wombaticulious, gem of all gems and irreplaceable in her greedy little heart." Ickabod was very tired and hungry enough to eat a rabid gnoll after all the perilous events he had just survived and his pinky finger hurt a lot from being jammed into a Freeport Malitiaman's helmet, while poking him in the eye during the escape. He really wanted to just go home but knew he couldn't and now Paittyputty was dragging him furiously to some unknown place on an empty stomach muttering somethink about saving the beautious queen Upunostrol from the evil gnome holding her captive.
