Guys, if any of you want one of these, I'm very willing to go out there and forage them. That plat necklace looks pretty good to me (= hehe.
Actually, know where Geode is foraged? I'll go out and bring us a stack or something. I'm sure a few of us could use it. Seems like a pretty good way to help learn JC too, using these foraged gems. Bound to be cheaper.

So I just did a level 30 adventure with my Ranger in Takish-Hiz, and foraged Polished Quartz, Geode, and Amethyst... hopefully this isn't the only way to get them... I mean, I'd bet a lot of jewelers don't forage.

On a serious note, i'll remember to turn lock my forage to my arrow keys so i forage all the time in LDoN. Some of that stuff is good, and a few of us would be helped by equipping it. I wish that they made some other ones that were more uber tho, while a lot of that stuff is good, there certainly are better things to be found even in the bazaar.
That stuff is plenty über enough to kill what little market there might be for nonPoP, nonLDoN jewelry. (Well maybe except for velium fire opal rings, but those are so abundant people sell them below cost of materials, omg) Gold Polished Quartz is 3ac 5wis 5int 15mana and costs 10.5pp per attempt (plus gem). Velium Star Rose Quartz is 5int and costs 263ish PP per attempt (bar is 262.5, plus gem cost but star rose quartz is fairly cheap). The former trivials way before the latter. Velium Polished Quartz is 5ac 8wis 8int 25mana and costs 262.5pp per attempt (plus gem). Velium Sapphire is 8str 8int and costs 367.5pp per attempt. Both are not trivial at 250.
I do wish they would go back and change a lot of the old world stuff to make it more worthwhile. A lot of Jewelry sells for below its cost nowadays, for a while actually. When I first played, over a year ago, the Velium and Platinum straight wis rings sold at or below cost, about.
They either should change the price of the bars and components, or make the stats better for adjustment. Like make the straight velium wis ring have 10 wis or cost 1/4 of the price. I know they're adjusting some things, with the zone revamps and stuff, but obviously more is needed to be done. Things that once were more than uber are now unmarketable, even to people new to the game. SOE should have a newly revamped zone at least every other month, if not every month, till all the old world zones have been revamped. I'm not even talking major revamps, just partial ones, or smaller ones. Like either changing loot tables, or adjusting graphics of the mobs. Stuff like that. We certainly pay enough for the game.
