DoD Progression Guide (Under Construction)

DoD Consists of Several Story Arc Mission Sets. Each mission has an individual reward and completeing the entire Arc will flag you to get a big reward such as a spell or locked zone key. Also each mission has a Boss drop or a chest with 1 loot item. CAUTION: Make sure all group members are in zone and not LD when looter does turn in for final mission steps or missing member may not recieve individual award and mission completion flag. Missions may be done out of order but the person geting the mission must have completed the previous mission in the arc.

Preliminary information (Spoiler Alerts)

Lvl 68 Spell/Ability Arc
NPC: Kellian
Zone: Stoneroot Falls
Mission 1: A Rogues Trust.
Reward: Face Item
Instance: Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill
Walkthough: Talk to Kelliad to get mission. Talk to Medrak to get into instanced version of Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill. Send someone to touch the gate, then kill 25 Drachnids and collect 4 Drops. Group can stay at the south safe spot the entire mission except to touch gate and to loot chest. Chest spawns when collect is complete at side of the gate. Turn in collects to Kellian for mission completion and reward.

Mission 2: Scouting ???.
Reward: Neck Item
Instance: Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill
Walkthough: Talk to Kelliad to get mission. Talk to Medrak to get into instanced version of Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill. Start at south safe point. Kill 25 drachnids and search the courtyard of Xill. When all the collects are collected, Warlord will spawn in the SW building of the cortyard at the top of ramp in the building. Warlord starts strong (1600 hitter) and decreases in strength as fight goes on. Warlord drops book for mission and 1 Loot item. Turn book in to Kelliad for mission completion and reward.

Mission 3: Buidling the Disquise.
Reward: Back Item.
Instance: Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill
Walkthrough: Talk to Kelliad to get mission. Talk to Medrak to get into instanced version of Stoneroot Falls:City of Xill. At zone in, pull and kill 10 snakes and loot 1 meat. Move to safe spot and clear in to the ramp to the Chambers of Xill. Kill 25 Drachnids and 10 Silkweavers. Loot 4 Skins and 4 Silks. The Chamber Guardian spawns when all collects are looted at the top of the ramp. Clear on of the corners to the side of the ramp, including the building next to the corner then pull guardian. Guardian starts week (hitting for 200ish) and increses in strength every 20% of health loss. Damage gets significant around 50% and at 10% he hits for 3400. Safe Defensive for 50% and DPS should save offensive discs for about 50% (ie trueshot). As he gets lower all backup healers will need to spam patch heals on tank. Drops Helm for mission turn in and 1 Loot item. Turn all collects and helm in to Kelliad for mission completion and reward.

Mission 4: Searching for Illuss
Reward: Shoulder Item
Instance: Chambers of Xill: Prince's Chamber
Walkthrough: Talk to Kelliad to get mission. Talk to Medrak who sends you to the Chambers of Xill zone in (where The Chamber Guardian Spawned in the last instance). Upon zoning in you are disguised as Drachnids. Wait till everone is in and then move as a group to the next room. Overseer will talk to group then take off to the Commanders room. All Group must keep up with overseer, anyone left behind will be attacked when the Commander sees through disguise. When the Overseer reaches the Commander, the Commander see though the disguise. Group needs to fight Commander and Overseer at same time, Commander is unslowable, Overseer is Slowable. Put main tank on Commander and next best tank on Overseer. After they are dead, clear out west and north then east till you find a locked door. Trigger for locked door is Monlith in room to the east. We agroed a bunch of spiders when triggering the Monolith. We think this was a trap and not spiders we missed pulling. Recomend sending a FDer or rogue to trigger. Go though door to north, and the tunnel splits north and west. Clear the jail room and trigger the next door by touching hte chest behind the bars. Go back to West split and clear next room then go south to room with Illius, 2 Protectors and the Prince. The Protectors will kill Illius, kill the Protectors and the Prince (unkillable in this mission) will run. Loot the dagger and 1 loot item from the chest. Go back to the north room and find teleporter trigger around one of the light globes. All should invis for port out as you may have a mob at the exit. Stand in circle for port out. Turn in dagger to Kelliad for Mission completion and reward.

Mission 5: Revenge?? of Kelliad
Reward:
Reward for all 5 mission complete: Lvl 68 Spell/Disc
Instance: Chambers of Xill: Prince's Chamber
Walkthrough: Talk to Kelliad to get mission. Talk to Medrak who sends you to the Chambers of Xill zone in. Fight to Prince and kill Prince (more details to come).

Dreadspire Key and Level 69 Spell/Ability Arcs
NPCs: Named Clocworks around the crash site.
Zone: Coronus Creep
Notes: The Dreadspire Key requires doing missions for several of the clockworks around the crash site, including the one that gives out the level 69 spell arc.

Level 70 Spell/Ability Arc
NPC: Prophet ??
Zone: The Undershore

There seem to be several other mission arcs, as i get more information and/or complete them I'll update.

Hey All, grabbed this little link off of Berthall relating to the DoD missions. I apologize if this link is stored somewhere else on the site http://samanna.net/gen.info/prog.dod.shtml I have yet to do any of these missions but would love to plan some soon..I am thinking about the solo mission, please post if you have completed and let us know how things worked out for yas.
