In the event all guilds are not ready for TT Sat, this will be the alternate raid.

This event consists of 4 bosses that spawn when the previous boss is killed. It flags you for the lower half of CoD so you can fight in the Bertox event. All mobs in this cycle are undead.

a. Carpin Deatharn - Carpin Triggers the event. Carpin initialy is spawned in a non trigger form. If you kill this form, the cycle does not start and you have to wait 3 days for him to respawn. Carpin has 3 guards. When the 3 guards die, he respawns in the trigger form. All 3 guards must be killed away from the spawn points, if any of the guards goes back to spawn, the other 2 guards will respawn. This is a real tricky pull. Idealy the puller needs to pull all 3 guards without pulling Carpin.
A lot of times you end up offtanking Carpin while killing the guards. When the 3rd guard dies, Carpin respawns at that spot. Carpin lifetaps for 3500, so healers need to keep this in mind and always keep the MA above 3500 hp.

B. Avhi - Avhi spawns further in. Once Carpin is dead, ALL PETS will be dismissed. Once Avhi has someone on his agro list, any death in zone of a player or pet will spawn 4 lvl 60ish skeletons. Also FD and leaving the zone will trigger spawns. Avhi is permarooted. We will crawl to the room before his and the puller will clear the trash spawns. We will then debuff and slow him and memblur. All Evacers will have evac loaded, but will only evac on RL signal. After Memblur, rampagge tanks will shoot arrows at Avhi and then the MA will charge him. On assist everyone engages.
B1. If no one dies, then the fight goes without a hitch and we move on to the Bishop.
B2. If anyone dies, the chain reaction of skeletons will start. Everone will stay on Avhi and burn him down. When Avhi is dead, RL will call for evac. Main looter will attempt to loot also, as we will not be able to get back to loot him before the corpse disapears. We will then wait at GY for copses to pop and for the skeletons to despawn. By the time Corpses are rezed and rebuffed the skeletons should clear and we move on to the bishop.

C. Bishop Towon. - Permarooted, hits for 1700ish and casts cleric spells, other then that nothing special. Easiest boss in the cycle. Puller will clear room then we will engage

D. High Priest - Puller will clear the next room and we will move in. Eveyone must stay off the North wall as one of the HP guards roams behind and has agroed people though wall who sit near it. The High Priest is permarooted at the back of the last room and his to guard roam from him and down the wings on either side of him. These guards are actually the toughest mobs in the cycle. They each lifetap for 5k. This means the heal team will need to keep the MA over 60% the entire fight. Puller must get these guards single. Puller will start by clearing trash in the HP room. Then attempt to split the guards. We may need an sk to snare one guard if the puller is having problems splitting. After each guard we will rez and rebuff as necessary. The high priest is permarooted, we will us the standard pre debuff, slow memblurr and MA will go get agro and call assist.

E. Flagging When the High Priest Dies, A named Pussling spawns. He is the mob we hail. RL will call for hails when any dead are rezed. He only has 36 flags, so most likely we will need to redo this event before going after Bertox.

Hunter Omegga Silvguard
90th Season Champion of Faydark
Forest Stalker of Norrath with 7k+ AA points.
Master Fletcher (300), Master Archer 375+AM3/EQ), Master Tracker (300), Master Forager (250)

a lot of kotg should have this, at the least, from sga hunts a while back... so maybe we'll only need to do this twice.

Carpin Cycle Raid Guide

My wife's Father is coming into town tonight at about the time the raid starts, so I dont know if I will be able to attend, blast it! Hopefully we can do another TT and/or Caprin cycle sometime. I think also, we should attempt some of these raids on a weeknight or a sunday night. Saturday night is sometimes hard for us married folks to attend EVERY week. At least those of us with wives who harp on us for not taking them out, lol.
