HoH Trials Strategy (HoHb Flag)

There are 3 trials to complete to get to HoHb. They are based on what every good Paladin should do, Slay a Dragon, save a princess amd defend the peasents.

All trials start by saying key words to the Trial NPC to spawn a Custiodian of Marr. Killing the Custodian of Marr spawns the trial and despawns all normal mobs from the trial rooms. Untill trials are complete no normal mobs will spawn in these rooms. Upon winning a trial, the trial NPC respawns for hail. Note you do not get the normal yellow flag message from these hails, you get a message that a mist comes down on you. This is the flag. You must have flags from all 3 trials to enter HoHb.

Dragon Trial.
This is the most difficult trial and only one that requires a full raid force.
Rydda'Dar hits Real hard in the 3-4k range and has the same AE and fear as AD.

Resists needed: MR

Strategy:
After clearing all mobs except the trial NPC. MA will postion himself on the rug, healers and slowers will be within range spell range of MA. RL or MA will say key words to NPC and trigger the Custiodian. MA will tank Custodian on the rug. At 10% health everyone but the MA, SA slowers and healers will back off to the wall. At 5% healers will start spamming heals on MA. When custodian dies RD will imediatly spawn. Untill RD is slowed healers will have to continue spamming heals. Imediatly all enchanters will tash then slow, all shaman will slow. Once a enchanter or shaman gets him slowed, they will announce in raid channel. Once MA has good agro he will call assist and eveyone use makimub DPS.

Once RD is dead, healers will rez.

Flagging when everyone is rezed or 5 mins after death, RL will call for hails.

Virgin Trial

In this trial the raid needs to save 3 virgins from recuso in 3 differnt rooms. 1 virgin and 7 or 8 recuso spawn in each room. If the virgins die, you lose the trial. After all the recuso in a room are killed the virgin despawns and a named recuso spawns.

Set up: A kite group of rangers, druids, bards necros will be formed. 2 kiters will be set up in each room. Reserve kiters will be designated.

Trial:
Raid will clear 1st room except trial npc, then RL will spawn the custodian. When the custodian dies, the virgins and recuso will spawn in the rooms. Kiters will agro all recuso and kite them aroudn the room. MA will grab recuso 1 by 1 and kill them all and then kill the named. Once room one is cleared, we will rez any dead and then puller will pull recuso from room 2. When only 1 recuso is left in room 2, raid will move to room 2 and kill him and then the named. Raid will set up in room 2 and pull room 3. After room 3 named is kill, trial npc will spawn in room 1 for flagging. We will rez any dead then flag.

Village People or Warrior Trial

This trial is similar to the Virgin Trial except that the villagers all spawn in room 1. In this trial, 15 Warriors spawn, 1 in room 1, 7 in room 2, 7 in room 3. If unagroed, all Warriors run to room 1 and attack the villagers.

Set up: A kite group of rangers, druids, bards necros will be formed. 3 kiters will be set up in room 2 and 3. Reserve kiters will be designated. A paladin or FD puller will be designated to pull rooms 2 and 3.

Trial: When Custodian dies, the warriors will spawn. Kiters in rooms 2 and 3 will grab the warriors and kite them. MA will grab the lone warrior in room 1 and raid will kill him. Puller will then pull warriors from room 2 into room 1. A paladin stunning the trailing mobs in the kite is usually the best way, though FD puller can also pull them. Once room 2 is cleared, raid will move to room 2 and repeant with room 3. When last warrior dies, the trial npc spawns in room 1 for hail.
