Give him a Muramite Armor Piece (Boots, Bracer, etc) from one of the upper tier GoD zones (Qvic, Inku'ta are confirmed to drop these molds) and he will give you back a worked version of this armor, which you will need later.

If you have the Staff of the Serpent (enchanter epic 1.0) or have completed the pre-quest, find "a sarnak imitator," a.k.a. Jeb Lumsed, in the Burning Woods (/loc needed).

Staff of Serpent Quest

The Start

The quest starts in the second floor of the Vasty Deep Inn in Erudin. There you will find Stofo Olan. Hail him:

You: 'hail Stofo Olan'

Stofo Olan: 'Good day, I have discovered something truly wonderful! If I only had the materials required so I can copy my notes and send them to my teacher.'

You: 'what materials?'

Stofo Olan: 'The materials I need are a mechanical pen, ink of the dark, and white paper. Bring me those and I will give you a copy of this information.'
