Hey Everyone, i've been working on alchemy on the side for a while now but hit a snag of sorts. I'm past the potions that are made from store bought items and into the potions that require at least one dropped or foraged item. If anyone has any red cups, robust shadow essence, exceptional shadow essence or exceptional shissar blood laying around in their banks gathering dust, i'll be more than happy to take them off your hands and free up the bank slots. Most of the time i'm on Gorrathe or if I am working on alchemy my shaman's name is Synnzamarr, he's in the guild.

Hey everyone!

Â I don't know who makes potions for guidlies, and I am not trying to step on anyone's toes. :)Â I just want to let people know that I can make gate potions (Major Translocation), and thier price is just the price of the ingredients.Â (approx 145pp)Â I am only currently at VI level, so if you need any really strong potions, I can't even attempt them yet, sorry.

Quick overview of Alchemy

There was a total revamp of Alchemy in Winter of 2006 when PoR came out. Alchemy is now much more friendly to makers of potions & their customers.

First: Shamans can get to roughly 230 with just vendor purchased ingredients. Beyond that, you need farmed or foraged items.
Virtually all components are sold in Abysmal Sea, Freeport, Plane of Knowledge, Shadowhaven, & I think Crescent Reach (don't have it to verify).

:idea: :shock: Thought I would do a new post about the wonders or horrors of alchemy post PoR. I was wondering how people have been finding it since.... what tips they have -- and what new recipes they have discovered (or old ones).... WHATEVER WORKS!!!

Also, if you have any tips on quick ways to skill up that would be awesome too!

If any of our shamans would like meat or parts for illusion potions, I have been saving some, just let me know. I hear it is good to raise your research level in Alchemy. I might even buy a few from you too, so when i do trade skills i get the benifits of my charm being in an illusion.

No suprise to anyone, but Bal can make potions. Unfortunately he's still stuck at skill 37 'cause noone ever wants anything other than SoWs... So if you need any liquid enhancements, or feel like becoming a venture capitalist, I'll certainly make any potion that I can. My skill advancement is all the profit I'm looking for, so I only need help with the ingrediants' cost.
