Now that we have broken into Anguish, thought I would post the information on the Gladiators Plate armor that is made from various drops found on the named bosses in Anguish.
Note that in order to get this armor you must be ally to Trelak (Dranik Loyalist). I was quite surprised to find that after all of the nocs, ukuns, ikaavs, and kyvs I have killed since OOW came out that I am still indifferent to Trelak. So, I went to Bloodfields and slaughtered a selection of the above for over an hour and rechecked my faction. Still Indifferent....... I think this is going to be a major pain. If there is one thing I detest in EQ, it's factioning, especially when it's such a huge time sink.
But anyway, for those of you who may be lucky enough to have ally faction already, here is the link:
Roughly 10 full anguish raids makes you ally. If your patient it isnt that bad.

I was actually indifferent whether I was invis. or not. After slaughtering hundreds of mobs in Bloodfieds, I've actually moved up to amiable now.
It's going to take some time I'm afraid.
If after i bought that item with DKP and i cannot do the turnin.
Teach me to jump on something so fast lol.

Faction chart below. In most cases 1 kill = 1 faction pt increase. Someone said Anguish kills may give more faction per kill then normal but I dont know for sure if thats true.
Generic Faction Levels
-2000 to -751 ...scowls at you, ready to attack
-750 to -501 ...glares at you threateningly
-500 to -101 ...glowers at you dubiously
-100 to -1 ...looks your way apprehensively
0 to 99 ...regards you indifferently
100 to 499 ...judges you amiably (400)
500 to 749 ...kindly considers you (250)
750 to 1099 ...looks upon you warmly (350)
1100 to ~2000 ...Ally faction

So, if I'm somewhere in amiable atm, I'm going to need to kill about 700-800 more mobs to get to ally. Not a particularly exciting thought.....
I did read in several places that there is a faction modifier in Anguish. It's similar to the old CoV vs. Giant faction from Velious, where the CoV faction was gained much quicker in the Kael Arena than anywhere else.
Some of the Tier II class armor requires max. ally apparently, however I guess Trelak just requires ally according to several posts on Allakhazam.
It's just hard to believe that after 3 years of sporadic killing in OOW zones, my faction is still in need of significant work.
Not looking forward to killing hundreds of mobs with little or no experience, but if that's what it takes, not much choice I guess.
If others are in need of Dranik Loyalist faction, let's form some faction groups and clear Bloodfields!
Cov was 5 faction points off Storm Giants (the ones with the short beards and look like Vindi) and 1 point off Frost Giants, the onese with the longer beards.
