In order to progress though the Void, you need to complete progressions in each time zone.  You can complete time zones in any order.  You start with Void A.  Void B is 1 time zone complete, C 2, D 3, E 4 and F 5.  Void G is accessed by raid progression.

The person requesting the group missions must faction through most of the tasks in FoS.  I also recomend that all finish the skeleton illusion quest to make moving around the zones easier.
