1 RUN EQ patcher.

2. Stay at the patcher screen and OPEN the EQHOST.TXT with text editor.

3. chaged text inside EQHOST.TXT like this:

Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.989studios.com:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin3.989studios.com:15900"
"eqlogin3.989studios.com:15901"
"eqlogin3.989studios.com:15902"
"eqlogin3.989studios.com:15903"

4. NOW save the file. THEN hit PLAY

Tried this twice but it didnt work for me. Even tried using EQLOGIN2 but it did not work either. I also tried changing the registration server to use EQLOGIN3 as well as login servers but to no avail?

Did you remember to unclick autoplay and stay at the patcher screen, do the editing, save the file, then click play?

Yep...did exactly that. I was able to eventually get in though so no worries now.
