i dont know if anyone has this problem. i know i use to have it and Sylvanie is still havin this issue. if you are i would like ot share a bit i learned about how to maybe fix it.
per EQ tech support:
crahsing to desktop is mainly cuased by video drivers; plz go download the newest ones and it will fix your issues.
ok that sometimes help the problem but no it doesnt usually fix it.
i had this problem really bad before i moved my system; i was crashing all the time and it got really annoying. when i moved for some reason my system files would not work anymore and i could not even boot to windows. i treid everytimg i kno to fix the issues but when that didnt work i broke down and fdisk, format and resotred my main drive. since then i have not crashed to the desktop once. sooooooo from what i can tell i could be caused by corrupted files in your OS. if your having this problems you may want to try this.
i for one have Windoes and office only loaded on my main drive and everything else o my 2nd drive that way if my OS does need to be restored i dont have to reload everything. BTW i only have one hard drive i jsut have it partitioned.

Yea, I've had the exact same problem... but it was the upgrade of the drivers that caused the issues... if anybody out there is into video card drivers (messing around with them) be carefull with the Detonator line... I had to lower myself a few versions to get EQ stable.
(BTW, I still have crashing issues when zoning into SH... guh, it's annoying)
