Ok, getting a new laptop for work that may be capable of Pre Luclin adventuring.
1.4Ghz Processor
16Meg Video Ram
30GB HD
256K Ram (can upgrade to 1Gig, will probly go to 768)
Operating system is Win XP Pro - Can you run EQ on Win XP Pro or does it have to be XP Home version? This is only area of concern atm any insight would be appreciated. Thanks,

Ya, you can run it on XP Pro. There is not really any difference in the two OS's that should affect running EQ.
What I would worry more about is the graphics chip/card used in the laptop. With only 16 meg of ram for the graphics card, it sounds like it might be an older type, and not likely suited for 3D gaming.
I currently run EQ on XP pro with no problems. (it sure beats 9x).
