The roster on this forum is malfunctioning, at least on my system it is... First off, the auto-updates on the toons level seems to be glitching. My beastlord Fazok is showing correct level 60, but my main (Faremoni) is showing only level 63 when she is 66.
Furthermore, the little icon that is supposed to bring up the Magelo profil doesn't work either. It pops up, but is closed down immediately again. Java-script error or just my settings? - I don't know, but I figured this Tech Support department would be the place to post about this.

The errors in reporting levels are actually EQs fault and not this website's. Occasionaly, the guild manager is bugged (i don't know why I say occassionaly, almost always is much more accurate lol) and this website uploads from that.

the Magelo thing I'll look into right now.

Edit:

as i suspected - worked fine for me. I suspect that Magelo was not working when you tried clicking on it. I've noticed through my association with Magelo that it can be a pain in the neck sometimes lol. I update mine frequently nonetheless.

Yeah, magelo tends to have issues with the encoding on their pages (and just breaking down) from time to time. It's usually fixed by the next day.

SO this means that I do not have to update the levels of my characters the board will do it for me?

It seems the roster still has some issues. Noticed that Acebar is listed as level 34, Rhylos (Enchanter) is missing, and we are likely missing many more peeps, especially the new guildies. Some folks I have talked with consider finding themselves listed on the roster as definitive full membership in Keepers (along with board access) and that they are considered 'probationary' members until added to the roster. Sooo, is there an alternative way to get the roster updated? It should probably be 2-3 times its current size with all the new folks and alts that have been on.

The website roster updates from guild roster dumps I do in-game, and as we all know the ingame roster continues to have issues which have not been corrected by Sony. Errors in level listings on our website are caused by that.

I agree, our website roster should reflect more people. I take regular roster dumps throughout the week in an effort to keep it as up to date as possible (at least 3 - 4 times a week, and sometimes a couple of times a day on weekends!). However, if people do not go to the KOTG Chars (member only) section and register their toons, they WILL NOT show up on the roster on our website. I have advertised a number of times in guild chat reminding people to sign up for our website, stressing it is a TWO STEP process - one registration for forum access and the second registration for character listing. Once people have thier mains listed, they may then go back into the character account and add guilded alts. But it is up to them to register their toons. After they have registered their characters, they should show up on our website the next time I do an update. Unguilded toons will not show up on our website roster, so if someone adds an alt which has not been guilded, that alt won't show up on the roster UNTIL it wears a Keeper tag and I do a new update.

Bottom line is, you want to appear on the website roster or you want forum access you gotta register. Remember to sign up for both the forum access and the character listing. They are two separate steps and both are important!

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means you have decided to see beyond the imperfections.

I actually find that when mine is not updated i will do an update on my char profile on the eq players site and it is usually fixed that night.

Great info...hopefully all will read this and heed the advice on getting themselves on the roster. Smiling

And we can always dream that Sony will fix things.
