OK with PoP expansion came some incredible Poisons. Unfortunately for me they are also SUPER expensive and require some hard to find components.
Normals Poisons are applied to the blade and are a 1 time resistable deal on the first thing i stab.
PoP Poisons act like a 10 to 15 MINUTE buff (depending on the rareity of the Poison) which will proc like crazy when my DEX is maxed as it allways is in good group.
Some of the effects of these Poisons are ( PER PROC mind you, so multiply these by several times) 450 manaburns, 70-80% slows, debuffs of 10-20 per stat, DD's up to 600, DoT's of 550ish, hate reducers up to 300, stuns, and combinations of all these. So there isnt really a fight i don't have the Poison for. These can REALLY help out in a big named fight!!!
As soon as i get my Poison Tradeskill Trophy made ill be saving towards the Sketches which are the most expensive component of the Poisons.
If any of you guys get any of these items in your hunting please save them for me, as it will cut my costs down and i will be yer friend forever ; )

I got alot of twilight worms, I tend to solo in akheva alot, and ill get ya a steady supply of them. Rock ferns I see in all the teir one planes, well actually pod only .
i have fount the the first few elemental mobs at the begenning of the zone the Hole drop the mercury you you are looking for, ther might be better places to farm them i am not sure though.

ive found out the drops of mercury can be made , so that part at least is no longer a problem, now to find the cash to get the Sketches =-\
Is the "buff" duration affected by focus items?
no, the duration depends only on the Poison. Tier 1 Poisons last 10 minutes, Tier 2 and higher last 15. Your DEX affects how many times it will proc and with 285 DEX i should be Poisoning like a madman
