Taking the key we had obtained in our last visit to Txevu, the Keepers of the Glade unlocked the far north door and found Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk and his 2 Ixt Inquisitors allong with 4 Ikaav summoners. The Summoners had finally broken through the barrier between dimesions and were summoning reinforcements from the Plane of Discord. We engaged the new arrivals and started killing off the Summoners. We had heard that Tkarish Zyk was enchanted so that he could only be damaged by another member of discord and our skillfull enchanters cooerced a Mastraq to attack the Zun'Muram. He attempted to banish us to holding cells but our rogues relised the prisoners and we defeated Zun`Muram Tkarish Zyk and his entourage. I removed the signet of command from his finger and also discovered another Shard of Dark Matter on his person.
We activated the statue with the signet and teleported to the upper temple, Tacvi where Tunat`Muram Cuu Vauax and his 7 most senior staff resided. We came across a lone Nihil at the enterence named Sesnil Yisnon and he told us the following:
'The spirits of this temple whispered of your coming and you have arrived none too soon. The leader of the Muramite army has taken up residence here along with three of his officers. They have destroyed all that stood as a symbol of the Taelosians and now as we stand here, the torture continues. I am all that is left of the slaves they brought here to experiment on. As you can see from the corpses that lie here, some of us did not even make it out of this room before we collapsed from fright of what was to come. Since the Wayfarers Brotherhood's arrival on our continent, I have been waiting for someone to get this far and save us. But you are not the first and I fear you will not be the last, for you see I have helped many others make it through this sacred place and now their remains clutter the hallways of this once glorious temple. The might of this army is at its strongest here and there is no mercy for the weak who challenge them. Now that you have heard my tale do you wish to continue?'
We said we did and he replyed. 'I am bound to help avenge the deaths of my people by the invading masses of the Muramite army. Until this is done I must help any who enter here. If you destroy the commander then you will free my spirit and the others who are stuck here. I will remove the seal on this door when you say you are read.' We told him to begin and he began to recite an incantation in his native tongue. Waving his arms in the air, the door lit up and went dim just as his arms came to rest at his side. 'There you are. The seal has been removed. Now once again you must destroy the guardian in the doorway and do not venture back until you have destroyed the being within, or you will be destroyed by the wards.
We then faced Pixtt Xxeric Kex, the senior Ixt in Tunat's force and her 4 pet ukuns. We defeated her and then moved on to the Ikaav Pixtt Riel Tavas who attempted to destroy us with exploding golems. Finally we faced Zun`Muram Yihst Vor who attemted to charm our warriors but was defeated. These battles left us weak so we retreated and prepared to face Tunat'muram another day. During our travels through Tacvi we discovered the corpses of many fallen warrior with diaries and other personal writing on them. I took the ones we found to thier relatives and friends in abysmal sea. I also delivered the shard of dark matter to Beanalle Banoam and recieved a purified shard which i was able to add to my Jagged Black Matter Gemstone smoothing it out.
