According to latest updates on planes of power there is going to be a plane devoted exclusively too tinkering. What this means I really dont know new tinkering recipes most likely (which is good tinkered stuff is really not all that great lol) and some tinkering quests. As many of the old wicked ways know Ive been saving to get grandmastery of tinkering (i was told it takes 20k to become a grandmaster and i had it but bazaar opened and i splurged so back down to 10k lol) but i should have the 20k back by the time planes of power is released. I might wait this time though till i hit 60th level lol before i begin my mad quest to become grandmaster tinker lol. If any other guild gnomes are interested in tinkering too u can contact me in game and we will discuss perhaps forming some sort of consortium (a tinkering gnome enchanter would be the best partner as chanter buffs make tradeskilling go much faster than trying to do it by urself lol) with which we can supply the guild warriors their rebreathers for their epics and gnome alt (or mains) sks pallys warriors and clerics some of the more useful clockwork pieces of armor (i made a gnome warrior alt just so i could twink him with my home made clockwork lol)
