This is a list of precollectable items to save for the Shawl quest. Each step requires a skill of 300 in a particular trades skill. All combines are 400 skill so recommend collecting at least double the required items. Some are tradable (T), some not (NT). Some are lore (L).

You gotta love that you need 4 Caveflower Pollens but they are LORE. Obviously, (I hope) they combine to make an item which isn't LORE so you'll have to do the combines as they are collected. Let's hope that can be done in a spit or a mixing bowl on the fly so you don't have to run to find an oven every time you get one.
Hmmm, more snow griffin eggs? Too bad I've been destroying those for the last umpteen months.

The Pollen is lore, so take a spit with you and do combnes at the ground spawn location.
And the numbers mentioned are if you DO NOT FAIL ANy COMBINES (most of which are 400 Trivials).

Start the escort
clockwork aggros everything past the pilgrims and Quest NPC at the base of the ramp.
Suggest stopping the clockwork and pull upcoming hostiles to your group. clockwork will assist and KS all with his super DPS.
Three of the stops at the lava will trigger a pair of a ravenous greken to pop on the clockwork
