Things just got worse...the tech spt answer did nothing to help. All my other characters work on EQ so here is the horrible: DELETE and REINSTALL ALL... to the normal gamer thats fine a couple hours and your straight with a few patches in between HOWEVER a dude in Afghanistan such as my self is looking at 65hrs of patching if the server doesn't cut off... I'll give this 24hrs just in case one of you has some strong kung fu with an answer on how to unlock my toon out of auto crash.
Please keep in mind
1. All my other toons work
2. I have 4 separate system errors that randomly popup when I try loggin Tanalos
3. Tech spt has already had me delete UI, Dll files, EQexe. , and DX9.
I've reinstalled all but Tanalos refuses to come out and play...thank goodness they extended the halloween event until morning of the 14th!
Does anyone know if anything good drops from the mini-Gods fight?
Should I spin my wheels up on wynde and other toons for this MM instanced fight and the 4 quests to get there OR hit the 65hr patch now and go for it seeing you guys with tanalos (HOPEFULLY) a couple days from now?
Needing a recommendation from my new guild during the absolute worst time to do it.

Tanalos, did they have you remove the files with your character name and server name? (Be sure to save a backup, they're just small text files)
Those can sometimes cause problems.
Also, if you run windows xp, run cmd.exe and type in chkdsk /r /f and hit enter. It will ask you if you want to check it on the next reboot, hit y. Then reboot and wait for about an hour. This will check if there are any problems with your harddrive it's self.

Appreciate the quick suggestions but no dice it appears...the old boy Rick James is reinstalling as soon as he finishes this last real life mission with his noncommissioned officers.
