Hi everyone. I need help gathering mushrooms. If any of you pass through zones like Veksar, Shadowhaven, Pal Caverns, etc. (Basically dirty grungy places), please either hit "forage" and see if you get them, or /ooc and see if anyone has some in those zones they're willing to part with. This would be much appreciated, as this recipe would send me that much closer to my final goal, a trophy!
If you donate some shrooms, I'll be glad to give you a few of the final product! (which are Ohabah Truffles). They give 6 agility and 6 dexterity, whilst losing 1 wisdom and 1 intelligence. Not bad, eh?
Make a social:
Line 1: /pause 5, /doability # (1-10, whatever you assign forage to)
Line 2: /autoinventory
That button will forage, wait half a second for you to see it then bag the result. Now for true forage fanatics, move the button to the last hotkey slot (bottom right). Press Alt+O, goto the keyboard tab, select Macros on the pulldown menu and change hotkey 0 to left/right. There, fully automated foraging.
Hehe. I used to have it even worse Eald. I used to have forage connected to ALL of my directional keys lol. I hit it every time i moved.
The sad part of forage is it takes so long to refresh, and at a very high skill, I forage useless quest stuff most of the time that I have no need or desire to get. What they need to do is make a forage window open up, and if you're in a zone and looking for a specific thing, or type of thing (like "Food," or "Drinks," etc) then you will only pick up those things or not pick up anything at all. While this over all will make a person less likely to pick stuff up, it should make it so there's an innately greater percentage of picking up such an item, like a 5% better chance, or 10% better chance, which would make me pick them up most of the time---but, at 200 forage, isn't that what's supposed to happen. If i pick up another "old silver coin" in Shadowhaven, lol...
The good news is I way overdid this last recipe. I have enough supplies to feed an army Obahah Truffles, I only needed to buy about 1/10 of what I did lol. Less than a stack of Eucolyptic leaves would have done it, which would have been nice if i had known, cuz they were expensive. A stack of the blue aglae. Etc. I have bags filled of Dark Chocolate Creme and Creme lol. Its funny. I'm gonna try to sell it i think, or if anyone wants to start baking...nows a good time!! haha
Yeah, I dont know if they warned you last night, 1 combination of creme makes 8 cups of creme.
I'm doing this recipe casually, when i remember to forage in luclin. My baking is in the 190s.
lol that did take me with surprise. I ended up with waaaay tooo much creme. coffee anyone? lol
However, I no longer need any more mushrooms. I'm a GM baker now, dinged 202 tonight!
