okay i am now a 170 smither and really want me ogre cultural bad...so bad i am considering selling most of my armor i have on now to make the money to take me to 250....but what i need to know is i have about 60k pp money assests me will to get rid of but will 60 k pp take me from 170 to 250?? if not does anone camp the acrilya and willing to give a ogre warrior a somewhat discount on the acriyla to try to make some cultural armor...me wiling to make cultural ogre armor to anyone who can benefit from it at cost...or any armor for cost at that point...just not too sure what to do but damn all of our ogre warriors with 42 ac legs 53 ac bp and 32 ac helms and 27 ac bracers...cant go wrong there andthen we will have uber ogre tanks...send messages in the game or leave a message here and let me know what you think....

good question and all i can say is it shold get you to 250 but i really dont know. i think all of us are over our acrylia campig days. and plz dont forget you dnt just need the ore you need the temper too which is almost as hard to get. however windstones are dropped in the same cabes in TM as the ore. i got to 170 smithing as well before the nerf of smithing. might i sugest fine plate until you max it for the time being? you shold be able to loot/buy the pelts you need you can have a taylor skin them and make the padding if needed. HQ ore is very expenive or is it MQ you need? shrug either way expensive. about all i can say..Mich knows more about this then anyone else i know.
Fine Steel now maxes at 188. You need medium quality folded sheets. Medium quality ore does drop in Runneyeye, Highpass basement, Sol A and PErmafrost off goblins.
Yes, fine Steel to 188, then Acrylia armor for the next run. Before you sink your whole kit and kaboodle into raising your skill, consider doing some of the gathering yourself. That means hunting a lot in the Tenebrous Mountains, and you need a few levels to do that. Get into the power leveling groups and get yourself up to the low 40's before you start hunting TM a lot.
as an FYI unlike me, omegga, and Mich you cannot run for Katta to lose a mob safely in TM; your race is KOS there. even in mid 50s TM can be dangerous so be careful and maybe get a few to go with you. those miners hit hard and add easy. watch your back and btw its a boring camp. get the Lab she drops the most ore but not the only one that does and she doesnt drop it every day. do your research and know what you need beofre you go. Acrylia, windstones, and other items are expensive to buy in the bazaar; myself have sold windstones for 100p each and got it in less then a few mins. acrylia goes for over 100p a brick seen large up to 500p.
i cannot speak for him but Alouzon spent more time in thse caves than anyone i have ever know ask his input; though i doubt he would be willing to go back to farm it again.
okay well thanks for the info our KL Connection is all nearing 30 and are willing to help me camp it cause me and dewser would both benefit from the cultural armor....also if anyone is hunting in Marus Sera (or something like that) and gets low quality rockhopper hides i will buy as many as you have....as they can be used for leather padding which is currently holding me back at this stage..to expensive to buy in the bazaar... i have tonnes of silk thread and just need low quality hides (dont think they go for much in the bazaar but i never see them..I know that medium and high quality go for alot but i dont think low does...anyways if anyone has some they dont need drop me a message here or in game and help me get me leather padding stocks up...thank you..any questions feel free to ask

Jsut hit 182 in smithing. If bank account holds up (under 1000pp) I might hit 188 doing FS BP's. Then I will have to do the cheap smithing route and go Shadowscream armor.
What lvl are the rock hoppers? I used to solo quite a bit in DS peaks, where the rock hoppers are, but I only fought the tribals for their acrylia blocks and exp. If you need acrylia blocks (pieces, small, large, etc.) I think i could quad them now, and get okay exp that way still...Its not so hard to find them there (unlike trying to get a HG in rathe lol, that's like trying to win 'who wants to be a millionaire)...
I wouldn't mind going back to DS peaks as long as I can still get exp there, I'm at 45 now. I hunted the tribals at around 40ish, blue then, so I don't think i'd get much of anything solo ing there....but if I could still get anything, i think i could now quad them and not worry too much about adds (i didn't quad there b4 becuase i got enough adds as it was just sitting there and dotting), so it should at least make the exp even with rathe.
I don't know what TM is, but if I can solo there I would also be happy to go. I need to find a new spot anyway...becuase when the HGs in Rathe aren't dark blue, i won't be able to stay there anymore. It's way overcamped, and as is I have to use track to keep up a steady flow of HGs (and get KS'd enough to make me think I'm one of the few that doesn't do it).
