Yea, I'm looking into thinking about making an attempt on the trophy Baker's Spoon...hehe
With anyone who knows a little about this.......because I have no idea.....what do I need? Iane, I read your thread with the Artisan's seal and the other part (which is baking related)...do I need to get up to 136 in pottery to make a baking trophy? Or can I just get a master baker to make it for me?
Anyway, I'm just curious to know. 4k is a LOT of money, but it would be well worth it alone. I'm willing to bet that some monks would pay 4k just for a permanent (and no rent) 100% wieght reduc 10 slot giant bag. Pretty nifty. (are the no-rent ones tradable?)
I heard someone say that the stats don't work if you put it in your ammunition slot....is this true?

well first off dont even bother tring till you get to 245 at least.

as an FYI your chances at the spoon is 50/50 at skill of 250 with max wis/int and dex over 200. get yourself c3 and boom or a really good shammy buff for the combine.
the gems can be mounted by anyone over 100 skill
seals can be made by anyone over 120 pottery

velium 263 per bar need 8 bars = 2104p

also there is alwasy a chance of failures on any combine no matter how trival theya re.
what does dex have to do with it?
max dex resudes your chance of failures, on some trade skills
for example when i am doing an expensive combin (not for skill cuz it will kill your skill ups) i get kithra to boom me or bum a dex buff from a shammy. so if you have max wis/int and high dex it reduces your chance at failures
all i can say is trust me it works. i had an chanter give me boom i did my trophy combine at lvl 250 skill 1 try is all it took.

i sugest nicely asking Sort, Eald, Kithra, etc to give you a form dex buff. doesnt last long so be rdy to do the combine once they cast it. i ams sure if they are free and you ask one of them they will do it..but i never speak for anyone .
The only thing that matters on the success of any combine is skill. Stats (highest of INT, WIS, {STR for smithing}, {DEX for fletching}) is used to determine if you get a skillup. But if it will ease your mind I will make you howl at the moon.

hate to disagree with Eald really but sorry hun if you have max wis/int and get your dex up it does reduce the chanes of failures see it on ohters and first hand.
prime example Golden idol of Tunare at the time trival 220 my skill 194
with C3 and boon i gailed 1 out of 11 times that is WAY WAY above the rate i should have it was due to the dex..my dex was around 200

But whatever works for you (higher stats never hurt anyone, well except for the one time some guy demanded that boon him right here right now in front of 2 guards...)
