need to find a gnome with a 210+ skill
Kyth i think we have discussed your skill is no where near high enough to do this but that was a long time ago. i do not have PoP as of yet nor do i plan i getting it for a few weeks. but i am trying to find someone/anyone to make me cams. I will NOT be providing the materials at this time; things could change when i get PoP. i need 20 of them made. And well i would rather give the money to a guild member then a stranger. so this is the deal; if you know a gnome with 210+ skill send him/her my way i am pay 15k+ for 20 cams.
also as an FYI the person that finds me a gnome to do this for me i will GIVE you a bow. you can use it sell it trade it, i just need cams. the current going rate for these bows is 25k+
Is there a skill level limit for Tinkering based on the character level? Basically, could a say level 5 gnome given enough resources and twinked out in the stats level needed for trade skills ever become a GM Tinkerer?
This post got me wondering. If it is possible, it may be a future project for me to setup an alt tinkerer just for fun.
i dont think so Masin; but some of the items you may need might be no drop for making stuff. and since your alt will only be a low lvl then this could cause problems. but its a good idea. now the stuff i need made none of the times are no drops so.... I think i will be getting PoP soon so i would like to group in PoI to try to get some of these items as well as the foraged stuff for the grease needed for hte cams.
i cant do that iane still at below average (50) for tinking and yes there is a skill cap on gnome trade skill (like every other tradeskill) though u can use tinkering skill befofe level 16 (u just cant improve it). I keep intending too get around too this trade skill but i just cant seem too get it (not enough time between work and rl and trying too level when i do play)
okies working on trade skill lol went from 50 too 124 in a weekend (rather cheaply for tinkering) would go much faster if the cheap components i needed were closer too each other (and only reason i can do now is because pop makes it possible to go from place too place at a decent speed) . Im doing fermentation geerloks and these will take me too 215 so if i keep working on it iane i should be able too do ur cams within a month or two lol.
no worries i still dont have the stuff needed yet; i keep getting scrwed over on the drops. thos that cannot use and hae no need for them roll then sale them in the bazaar. its getting byeond annoying. 18 drops today in a group i was in i informed them i had a connection issue and i would be right beck came back to the peroons htat looted them decided he wanted to keep them and did so. so far 1 cam (part of a donation for making some bows), 2 gears and 1 bldt. i still need 18 gears and 19 bolts 
. PoI is kind of an easy zone if you stay near the zone line and hte main tank has over 4500hps buffed. i can keep most groups alive very easy in this zone. just need a slower and a mezer.
