Vallon Zek
He's the easiest of the three Zeks.
Melee: ??
Level: ??
Spawn Info: Relatively fast respawn. 12 hours?
AE1: Vallon's Precision
AE2: Vallon's Subversion
Scripted Events: Five yellow-to-65 mobs spawn. All five are slowable. Only one is the "real" Vallon Zek, however. After you take the "real" Vallon Zek down to 80% health, five more mobs spawn and you must locate the real VZ and take him down to 80% health again. The trick is to make sure that those five spawn when you're ready for them. You must therefore pull and fight all five mobs away from the "trigger area" so that you won't get immediate aggro after the real VZ drops to 80% health.
Strategy: If we have our full raid force, we will use the 5 tank strategy. RL will pretarget each of the 5 Vallon Zeks in each spawn and assign them to tanks. When pulled, raid will assist the MA killing each Vallon zek while the other tanks offtank.
Loot:
Furious Hammer of Zek
Girdle of the Tactician
Glyphed Rune Word
Obsidian Scimitar of War
Pendant of the Triumphant Victor
Resplendent War Maul
Spectral Parchment
Tallon Zek
*Tallon Zek Shadow Steps during the fight
*4 normal spawns in the room (in the corners)
Melee: Weak ... how much, exactly? Slowable?
Mobility: Not rooted. Moves freely and shadowsteps regularly.
HP: 100k?
AE1: Tallon's Ballance
AE2: Barb of Tallon
AE3: Barb of Tallon
AE4: Barb of Tallon
AE5: Barb of Tallon
All AEs are directional. If TZ AEs while shadowstepping the AE goes from the direction she was coming from and to the location she is at.
Notes on pulling: Need to be careful pulling the four mobs stationed in the corner of the room because an ae hits as soon as you enter the doorway. As soon as you hit the top of your head in line of sight he pops you with an arrow for 2k and you get a DoT for free and whatever other nasty crap he can throw down before you get FD off. Some of the room spawns gflux.
Notes on the fight: GET DMF! His AE Gflux will kill DPS and cause lots more damage than you need to take as a raid. Get DMF! Because he shadowsteps it will be difficult to keep all melee on him the entire time. We should try to test bard gate on him. If a bard can gate him to bind consistently, we can keep him in one spot with no difficulty. With a bard singing dispell and the correct use of insta-clicks and buff stacking, it should be possible to keep all dots off of all party members at all times. This requires melee to be extremely on the ball about buff management.
