I am working on this for my site (slowly) -- but I thought I would toss in some general data for KOTG.
 The master quest is called Beyond the Barrier.
Steps of that task are actually sub tasks, like Lost Brother and Find the Containers.
The Find the Containers (Crystals -- they are actually bags) only require you go pick up a ground spawn that respanws every 35 secs. You need a bag slot open. You can also dump this tiny container and go get it again when you actually need it (one in LP is tricky tho).
These containers come into play with the Lost Brother (Crystals) tasks.
These task involve killing the various named MOB's that spawn in the "pools" (you will understand when you see it) located in the long canyon on the east side of the map. They spawn when you go into the pool.
In each area there is a static named you need to kill or it will train you will all th nearby adds.
After its dead, as a GROUP -- run up into the pool and kill the named that spawns. The adds spawn outside the pool and normally do not aggro if you stay n the pool. They poof after about 60-seconds if not aggroed.
Another way is to have an FD calsss run up, pop that named, FD and the others run up after the adds poof.
 Kill the named and loot the item it drops (it drops 6).
These items are combined in the containers (crystals) to make a final version of the crystal.
After you get all 4 of these, you get a 5th bag to combine them in for the Crystallos key.
This can be done raid style as follows:
1) Clear
2) Group 1 goes in kills the named and loots. Group 1 STAYS in the pool.
3) Group 2 goes in, they all kill named and Group 2 loots and then STAYS there.
4) Repaet for all groups.
Otherwise, you can cause an undesireable number of adds and a perpetual spawning of the named.

The 4th case (light blue crystal base) can also be a pain to get because 1, you have to get the access to Meldraths Magestic Mansion, and 2, unless you have DI, you are going to want to clear to it.
I have started a this long quest. I have killed a few of the named mobs so far and have begun another task. I believe that I will most likely be hiding out finishin up a little Katta faction, or will be up here in LP or HoS or attached zones to continue working on this one. In doing the sub tasks I have noticed no faction hits etc.

Completely Updating "Beyond the Barrier" is required if you ever plan to raid in Crystallos. However, if you just want to kill the golems for group acces, you do not have to worry about the sub-quests (lost brother, etc), just get the bases, get the golem drops, combine, and you are gtg. Or at least so I have been told...still need 7 more golems deaded and the HoS base to wrap this up for Soliman.
